You can book online through our booking system, write to us on WhatsApp at +41 91 970 24 24, email us at smile@alpinesmiles.ch, or call us during opening hours. We will confirm your appointment as soon as possible.

Please bring a valid ID, your health insurance card, and any recent dental x-rays or records if you have them. If you are taking any medication, it is helpful to have a list with you. We recommend arriving 10 minutes early to complete your new patient form at ease.

Your first visit begins with a comprehensive consultation. We take time to understand your goals, review your dental and medical history, and carry out a thorough clinical examination. Depending on your needs we may also take digital x-rays. At the end of the visit we will discuss our findings and recommend a personalised treatment plan.

We recommend bringing your child for their first dental visit around age 3 to 4 for a general check. For orthodontic evaluation we recommend age 6 to 7, when the first permanent teeth begin to emerge. Early assessment allows us to guide jaw growth and intercept problems well before all permanent teeth are in place, making treatment simpler and often shorter.

Yes. We welcome patients of all ages and offer treatments for children, teenagers, and adults. If you do not find what you are looking for in our treatment menu, just ask us.

We are located at Via Pico 19, 6900 Lugano. We have two dedicated parking spots directly outside the clinic. Additional parking is available in the blue zone streets surrounding the clinic and at Parcheggio Campo Marzio near the Lido di Lugano. By bus, the stops Cassarate Monte Brè and Cassarate Scuole are a 3 minute walk away. There is also a ferry stop at Cassarate next to the Grand Hotel Villa Castagnola. Bicycle kiosks are available at the nearby Parco Giochi.

We are open Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 19:00 and Friday 08:00 to 12:00. We are closed on weekends and public holidays.

An Invisalign, implant, or veneer assessment costs CHF 49 and includes a full 3D iTero scan and a complete set of clinical photos. This is a dedicated planning appointment, not a general examination. If you proceed with treatment the CHF 49 is deducted from your treatment cost. A complete examination with x-rays costs CHF 129. A full examination including professional hygiene up to 45 minutes costs CHF 199. Hygiene only up to 45 minutes is also CHF 129.

Most dental treatments at Alpine Smiles are private and not covered by basic Swiss health insurance (LAMal). Exceptions include dental treatment following an accident, which may be partially covered depending on your insurance policy. Certain rare medical conditions may also qualify for coverage. Complementary dental insurance varies significantly between providers and may cover specific treatments. We recommend checking your policy before your visit and we are happy to help with any questions.

Yes. We offer flexible payment options including monthly instalments. The full cost of your treatment is always communicated before you commit to anything. We will find a solution that works for you.

Invisalign pricing depends on the complexity of your case. After a 3D iTero scan and clinical assessment we assign your case to one of four treatment packages and provide a clear all-inclusive price before treatment begins. No hidden costs and no standardised solutions.

Yes. We offer both in-clinic and take-home professional whitening systems, clinically monitored for safety and predictable results.

We reserve appointment time exclusively for each patient. If you need to reschedule, please contact us at least 48 business hours in advance. Weekends and public holidays do not count toward this period, so if your appointment is on a Monday please contact us no later than Thursday during opening hours. Appointments not rescheduled within this period will be charged at 70% of the scheduled fee. For missed Invisalign, implant, or veneer assessment appointments a flat fee of CHF 49 applies.

Please aim to arrive on time so we can dedicate the full appointment to your treatment. If you are running late please call us first at +41 91 970 24 24, or reach us on WhatsApp if you cannot call. Any unused reserved time resulting from late arrival may be charged accordingly.
