Composite bonding
Perfect for chipped, discolored, or uneven teeth, dental bonding quickly restores your smile. The material is matched to the natural color of the teeth and can also be layered for complete restorations, such as veneers, with an incredibly natural look.

Composite bonding is a versatile and minimally invasive cosmetic dental treatment that improves the appearance of the teeth with surprisingly natural results. In most cases, composite veneers are applied without reducing the natural structure of the tooth, provided that the teeth are positioned so as to allow it. Using different shades of tooth-colored resin material, composite bonding can solve a range of dental problems, from minor imperfections to gaps, for a balanced and secure smile. At Alpine Smiles in Lugano, we customize each treatment according to your specific needs, ensuring that the results are natural and blend perfectly with your teeth.
When bonding with composite materials, it is essential that the color of the adjacent teeth matches precisely. If you're thinking about bonding but aren't completely satisfied with your current tooth color, whitening your teeth first can create a brighter, more cohesive background for an even more surprising result.
Including scanning and imaging. There is no difference in price between composite veneers made by freehand or with the injection molding technique. The same price applies to the partial bonding of the composite (edge bonding, black triangle closure, diastema closure), since it is also highly sensitive to the technique to blend optimally. We will use the technique that best suits your case and your objectives.
Not mandatory, but it can increase the longevity of both teeth and restorations. These protectors are worn at night to protect the smile and can also be used with a whitening gel to maintain a bright and healthy appearance.
Composite veneers typically last 4-7 years and can occasionally last up to 10 years with excellent care. Although composite may require more maintenance than porcelain, such as polishing to maintain its shine, this treatment offers flexibility and convenience for many patients. The main benefit is that there is generally no need to drill a healthy dental structure. We recommend scheduling the polishing once a year, ideally during the annual dental visit, to keep the restorations looking their best. Long-term results depend to a large extent on maintaining good oral hygiene and healthy habits. If retouching is necessary, it is usually not necessary to replace all the restorations at the same time: the individual teeth can often be adjusted as needed. We offer a 1-year warranty on our composite works, provided that patients maintain good oral hygiene and undergo their annual dental examination.
