Veneers, Crowns & Bridges

For teeth that need more extensive repairs, we offer high-quality veneers, crowns and bridges. These restorations are both functional and aesthetic and blend perfectly with natural teeth.
Transforming the smile with veneers, crowns or bridges is an effective way to replace lost dental structure or improve the shape, size and color of the teeth for a natural and beautiful result. Here's a breakdown of each type and what they offer:

Veneers
Veneers are thin composite or porcelain shells glued to the front of the teeth. Ideal for repairing worn teeth, closing gaps or masking discoloration, veneers provide a natural look thanks to the realistic qualities of porcelain. Veneers can also be combined with other treatments, such as whitening or invisible braces, for optimal results.

Advantages: It restores lost dental structure, offers an aesthetic and natural appearance and resists stains.
Restrictions: A minor reduction of the teeth is often necessary, it can chip with excessive force and requires regular maintenance.
Sometimes unprepared veneers can be made, that is, without removing any dental structure and purely additive as the case may be.
Lifespan: Veneers typically last 10-15 years, with proper care.
Maintenance: Routine oral hygiene practices are essential, along with regular dental checkups.

Corone

Crowns cover the visible part of the tooth, restoring both functionality and aesthetics. They are a great solution when a tooth is severely damaged, as they help protect the remaining dental structure.

Types:
Full ceramic crowns: Completely made of porcelain, ideal for the natural aesthetics of the front teeth.
Metal-ceramic crowns: Made of durable metal core with porcelain exterior.
Advantages: It provides strength and durability, restores the biting function and corresponds to the natural appearance of the teeth.
Procedure: It generally requires two visits: the first to prepare the tooth and take impressions and the second to place the final crown.
Maintenance: Good oral hygiene is essential to prevent tooth decay at the edge of the crown.

decks

Bridges are designed to replace one or more missing teeth by anchoring to adjacent teeth. They are custom made for a natural look and provide support to prevent surrounding teeth from moving.

Advantages: Fixed in place for maximum comfort, it supports the surrounding teeth, restores the function of biting and chewing.
Restrictions: It requires sufficient healthy teeth on both sides of the gap, which are harder to clean between bridges.
Procedure: It involves the remodeling of adjacent teeth to support the bridge and positioning in two visits.
Lifespan: Bridges generally last about 15 years with proper care.

Onlay and inlays

Onlays and inlays are durable repair solutions for damaged teeth but that don't require a full crown. These restorations, sometimes referred to as 'partial crowns', aim to preserve a greater part of the natural structure of the tooth by restoring its function, strength and appearance. Both onlays and inlays are custom-made to precisely fit the prepared area of the tooth, providing a continuous and lasting result.

What are Onlays and Inlays?

Inlays
are inserted inside the cusps (outer edges) of a tooth, usually used for tooth decay or damage on the surface of the bite that does not extend beyond the cusps.

Onlay cover one or more cusps, extending beyond the edges of the tooth, making them ideal for larger areas of decay or damage.

Both inlays and onlays are available in materials such as porcelain, composite resin, or gold. Porcelain and resin are often preferred for their tooth-colored appearance and blend well with natural teeth, while gold offers exceptional durability.

Why choose Inlay or Onlays?

These restorations are excellent options for keeping as much of the natural tooth as possible, offering protection and durability comparable to full crowns but with a more conservative approach.

Tooth preservation: only the damaged part of the tooth is removed, preserving the healthy structure.
Durability and resistance: Inlays and onlays offer excellent strength, especially for molars that withstand strong chewing forces.
Aesthetic advantages: Tooth colored materials such as porcelain or composite resin provide a natural look that blends perfectly with surrounding teeth.
Precise fit: Tailor-made for the tooth, the inlays and onlays reduce the likelihood of bacteria entering, minimizing future decay.
